A Corning Laser Technologies (“CLT”) team received the first annual Corning Compliance Compass Award from Corning’s Compliance Council during a February 2017 communications meeting for the Advanced Optics Division.

The award, known as the Compass Award, was created by Corning’s Compliance Council in 2016 to recognize and celebrate the actions of a person or group for excellence in support of Corning’s Compliance Program. The first-ever award was presented to a team from Corning Laser Technologies GmbH in Krailling, Germany, for their work in regard to compliance with import and product labeling regulations applicable to CLT’s laser-cutting machines.

The Compliance Compass Award is intended to be presented annually in the first quarter to a deserving individual or group of individuals to recognize their dedication to Corning’s Values, including the Value of Integrity, and to Corning’s Compliance Program.
