Meet Emilee. She’s adding a flair of creativity to her work.
With a background in photography, Emilee brings a different perspective to her colleagues in Optical Fiber and Cable. Working on web design, tradeshows, presentations, and other collateral, Emilee coordinates a full range of promotional activities to support the business’s worldwide marketing plans.
“Having the ability to infuse my creative background into my job brings a unique approach to the marketing communications materials I’m developing day to day,” says Emilee.
Emilee was able to put her creative skills to work early on in her career by working with a team to develop an event which celebrated the company’s acceptance of an Emmy Award for the invention and deployment of fiber optic cable. Traveling to different manufacturing plants across the company, Emilee and her colleagues created a red carpet-like experience for employees, giving them all a chance to be part of the excitement.
“We wanted to make it an engaging and memorable event for employees, and it was incredible to see how proud they were to know they played a role in winning this award,” says Emilee.
Emilee appreciates the collaboration among her colleagues as well as the career guidance they have bestowed upon her.
“To have a network of professionals with a wealth of knowledge at my fingertips helps me continue to develop my skills,” says Emilee.
